Dupixent (EoE) | children’s poetry in motion
For children living with EoE, symptoms often get misinterpreted, which can lead to misdiagnosis—or a lack of a diagnosis altogether. These kids are often thought to struggle with other conditions, like food allergies or GERD, which cause nearly identical symptoms.
For young children who may not have the tools to properly communicate their symptoms, we knew it was imperative to educate caregivers and kids about what EoE can look like. Born out of that insight was the concept of educational children’s poetry. The result? Three beautiful, engaging, and educational videos that captured the attention of kids and caregivers alike.
These videos cover different symptoms, triggers, and scenarios that may sound all too familiar for kids and parents struggling to address EoE. The kid-friendly thematics, language, and visuals were launched in partnership with The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
From concept (originally called The ABCs of EoE) to writing the rhyming poems, VO recruitment and direction, and execution of the final videos, I worked closely and collaboratively with a number of partners on this series.
